Dr Pavlos Andreadis

Advisor, Reinforcement Learning

Dr Pavlos Andreadis is a teacher in Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, primarily focussing on Applied Machine Learning. As a researcher, he studies models of human behaviour, specifically related to their preferences and how those are expressed in their interactions with systems and other users, typically in online systems.

Past projects involved learning simple and efficient models of human preferences, as well as using recommender systems for the efficient coordination of a large number of non-communicating agents. Some of his MSc students have been working on extensions of the above research, while most of them are focussed on Reinforcement Learning, particularly in Multi-Agent Coordination, and Supply Chain Management.
